Current Exhibition

The CMU 437CO Art Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition Identity featuring three of the Studio Art BFA candidates, Avery Clouse, Joy Farr, and Meka Ullerick.

Avery Clouse:
Metal casting and metallurgy allows her to feel an external force she can control. Through her art, she is able to talk the world she struggles to comprehend and turn it into a single moment frozen in time.

Joy Farr:
Fanciful visuals and mysterious imaginative narratives are present in Farr's work. She is influenced by explorations of identity, magical escapism, fashion, pop culture, and cute animals, inviting the viewer to place themselves in the visuals she creates.

Meka Ullerick:
Creates order out of chaos, pushing boundaries of space while being visually appealing. Finding balance is part of the experience in her work, which is dark in nature, reflecting the opposing forces of turmoil and calm in her demeanor.

Stop by Monday, April 29, 2024 - Thursday, May 30, 2024 to see this breathtaking exhibition! The opening reception will be May 3, 2024, 5:00-8:00pm with artist talks at 5:30pm.
